A quick project to get you ready for christmas.
These are so easy to make. I had everything on hand, so it was free! i love how they look inside vases or jars, but you can even make them into a garland!

    Step 1

First, cut your foam board. Mine was 2cm high, so I made 3x3 and 4x4cm squares. Choose the size you want!

If you are using cardboard, cut the squares and glue them together, until you get your desired height.

Wrapping time. Cut the paper into squares. I used tissue paper. You can use whatever you have on hand, even magazines! I used some glue to help me keep everything in place.

If you've never wrapped a gift, here is a great tutorial: http://www.wikihow.com/Wrap-a-Present

Though I tried to make my wrapping as neat as possible, it's not at all perfect. I'm ok with that, because the result looks pretty cute to me. So don't get mad if you don't get perfect creases.

Now, the ribbon. After some trial and error I figured I needed 40cm for the 3x3 squares and 50cm for the 4x4. The first step for me was to pin the middle to the center. It helped with keeping everything in place.

Take the ribbons to the other side, twist them, and take them to the upper side, forming a cross.
