Easy Lemon Bundt Cake

My Son adores this cake and asked me to make him one yesterday.

You Will Need (10 things)

  • 1 package plain yellow Cake Mix ( not the pudding in the mix kind )
  • Cake :
  • 1 box ( 3 oz ) lemon Jelly
  • ⅗ cup Vegetable Oil
  • ⅗ cup Hot Water
  • 4 lg. Egg(s)
  • Glaze :
  • 2 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 2 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp finely grated Lemon zest

Steps (4 steps, 60 minutes)

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly mist bundt pan with veg oil spray ( you can also flour it but I never do )

    Place the cake mix, jello, oil, water and eggs in lg. mixing bowl and beat on low for 1 minute. Scrape down the sides of bowl and beat on med. speed 2 minutes. Pour the batter into the pan smoothing the top with rubber spatula and bake about 40 min. Remove the cake from oven and cool on wire rack 10 min.

    Make the glaze by combining lemon juice, powder sugar and zest stir till smooth. ( if to thick add drops of lemon juice or water )

    Invert cake onto platter, spoon glaze over warm cake and serve warm or cool.
