You Will Need (10 things)

  • 1 sqft Black Leather Or Faux Leather
  • Scissors
  • Sharpie Marker
  • Ruler
  • 2 Carpentry Nails
  • Hammer
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Hot Glue
  • 1 Hair clip
  • 1 black scrapbooking Brad(s)

Steps (6 steps, 30 minutes)

  1. 1

Use the ruler to draw out a 3"x3" square.

  2. 2

Cut out the square with sharp scissors.

Using the ruler and marker again, draw diagonal line from corner to corner, making an "X."

  3. 3

Cut about 1.5" into the diagonal lines.

  4. 4

Grab a scrap piece of wood, and using a nail and your hammer, place the nail where you want to poke holes in the leather(one in the center, and one in each corner. See picture below, "Step 5"), then hammer the nail in.

  5. 5

Fold in the corners that have the holes, line up all five of the holes, and secure it with the brad.

  6. 6

Hot glue the clip on the back of the mini pinwheel. Let it cool.
