Cut out leaves from red leather leftovers.
Glue them together in a nice arranged manner. Then cover the back with another leather piece.
Glue a fake coin or something similar decorative on the top of the front side.
Attach a chain. For the closure, connect the chains with ribbon in the middle, that means an easy comfortable cheap closure as you can pull it over your head and then knot it together for the desired length.
