Came across the lovely red safety pin 'beads' in a wool shop and had to buy them. Wanted to create a fun little gift for my younger cousin and really pleased with how it came together :)
Came across the lovely red safety pin 'beads' in a wool shop and had to buy them. Wanted to create a fun little gift for my younger cousin and really pleased with how it came together :)
Cut a rectangle of faux leather and run your black ribbon back and forth across it trying to keep it a bit erratic looking. Weave in your safety pin beads and decide where to place your extras (I used bows from broken hair clips and hearts from broken necklaces) I used a hot glue gun to affix everything in place. Once it's dry use a bright different colour ribbon to lace up (corset style) the cuff so it looks interesting from all angles.
