You Will Need (5 things)

  • Latex
  • Latex Glue
  • Scissors /Rotary Cutter
  • White Spirit
  • Cotton Pad

Steps (8 steps, 45 minutes)

  1. 1

Print out your pattern from the link provided and begin by placing it on your latex.

  2. 2

Start by drawing around your pattern using a silver gel pen or white eyeliner. Any colour will do as long as it shows up on your colour picked.

  3. 3

Using either a rotary cutter or very sharp fabric scissors begin cutting out your gloves carefully.
If they're blunt your gloves will have jagged edges.

  4. 4

**Before using white spirit make sure you read the instructions on the back, it's very flammable and can be poisonous if consumed or inhaled**

In a very well ventilated room apply a small amount of white spirit to a cotton pad and clean the edges on the top surface and bottom of your glove. Cleaning it removes excess dirt and dust. This will help create a better bond when gluing.

  5. 5

After applying white spirit your latex will curl up, it will go back to normal shortly though.

  6. 6

Cut off your trim and clean it using white spirit then place it to the side for later.

  7. 7

Apply a small amount of latex milk to the top and bottom of your glove then do the same to your trim. Wait for the glue on them both to go tacky and slightly see through then carefully stick the trim on. Apply pressure to the trim to make sure it's stuck together properly.

  8. 8

Now just glue the seams marked on the pattern and you're done!
After gluing any seam it's important to apply pressure to it. You can do this by rolling along it using a metal roller.
***Remember to the leave the thumb holes open!***
