Cut Out + Keep

Laptop Sleeve

Protecting my laptop when I am too lazy to put it in a case.

Made this using an old pillowcase. I embellished it with my brother's computer repair company's logo using green felt. The embellishment is not necessary for the overall project which is why I didn't put it in the "ingredients" list. :) It took 45 minutes from start to finish...which includes measuring the dimensions of my laptop, cutting the pillowcase fabric to appropriate size and sewing it together. I also added a piece of hemp string to tie the adapter/plug-in cord for my computer to keep things neat and together. The pocket was the most challenging part because I added it as an afterthought. Sewing on the pocket first would have been smarter. This sleeve is handy to have for at home, especially with my little ones who like to get into everything. Whenever I put my laptop in this sleeve, they leave my laptop completely alone. Score! :)
