I made this ladybug cake for my sons 6th birthday, that was all about bugs.
For the base use a cake in what ever taste you like made in a regular circle cake pan.
I used icing with red color for the wings, and chocolate spread for the head.
The black spots on her back and the eyes are made from chocolate buttons.
Then I used tube icing for last details such as the mouth, eye pupils and the line between the wings.
It was so easy to make, and my son loved it.
Then we made the cupcakes together with him using M&Ms for the spots on the wings and the eyes.

My cousin did this for her daughter's 1st birthday!! Except she used whipped cream. But it was still cute!!
