Embellished your socks with ribbons, lace and cameos by creating a gorgeous Victorian inspired cuff.
Gather your supplies. You'll want a couple of types of lace, some ribbon, a cameo and a cameo setting.
Layer the ribbons and lace around the top of the sock until you find a design you like.
While wearing the socks, wrap the lace and ribbons around your leg and cut to the correct size, leaving an overlap of 1 inch.
Cut two of each of your ribbons and lace.
Relayer the ribbons in your desired design.
Using a running stitch, sew the ribbons together at the top using matching thread.
Then stitch the ribbons together at the bottom.
Your finished cuff should look like this.
While wearing the socks, wrap the cuff around the top of your socks.
Using a running stitch, sew the cuffs to the top of your socks using black elastic thread.
Finally, position the cameos in the middle of the cuffs.
Stitch in place and you're done!
