About
Butterflies and Fairies for Kyra
This is the quilt that I made for my first grand-daughter. She's not here yet, but she will be soon. We didn't want pink, but we didn't want it to look too boyish. My daughter's favorite colors are purple and blue. The border is the Disney Fairies. I cut out and backed some of the butterlies and placed them at each corner for a 3-D look. Most of quilt was made by using scraps from outfits that I've made for my nieces. The border and backing for the quilt were the only new purchases.
