Decide where you want your knot to be. On the right, left, or middle of your dress.
Gather the fabric together at the bottom (right, left, or middle) of the skirt in one hand and loop it around your other hands thumb and index finger. Pull the end through the loop until it's secure.
Decide how large or small your want your knot to be and adjust it until you like how it looks.
