Knitted Felt Handbag

I knitted this bag using two types of wool. Make sure the wool is atleast 50% wool or it won't start to felt in the washing machine. One type of wool was a higher percentage wool so that's why the odd shape flap at the front formed that way, but it was actually a happy mistake/experiment. It took a while to knit by hand, so that was the time consuming part really, but once you put in in the hot wash with a couple towels it'll felt down nicely.Sometimes a couple washes is needed for it to take shape. I let it dry on a radiator and then blanket stitched the bag together with strap/handle (though the handle should have been thinner) and hand sewed in a zip. I sewed 2 buttons on the front for detail and behind the buttons on the reverse side are metal poppers just to stop it from flapping about. Because it's not completely felted,it has some slack to it so you can fit more in it.
