Based on Kitty Hood Scarf With Pockets by Cat Morley

It's a mod to the Kitty Hood Scarf With Pockets pattern by Cat Morley, :-), and a cross between the Fleece Fox Scoodie by Katie O., both patterns are here on this site. This is for Christmas. I used RedHeart in Carrot, White and Black Working with Cat's pattern, these are the parts and mods I used to make the Fox: The Scarf- Increased the scarf length to 62 inches long, should go 66 inches next time. Two sides for the Hood - Increased Co to 50 stitches and knit for 50 rows making the Bo at 35 stitches for a deeper hood. I used a crochet hook and used a chain stitch to seam this together, glad I did, the hood was off center by an inch, made it easy to take apart to recenter it. I seamed the hood from the inside starting at the bottom, which would be the back of the neck, and stopped 1 inch from the top curling edge, then seamed that last inch from the top so that when it naturally curls you won't see a seam. Two Pockets -( I am adding paw prints in duplicate stitch before I start the sewing to assemble this beauty) :-) Four Fox Ears - 2 outer and 2 inner. Pattern same for all four ears. CO 18 sts, knit 3 rows, decrease one stitch one each end every 4th row until 2 stitches remain, BO- makes large ears. For smaller ears CO 16 sts, knit 2 rows, decrease one stitch on each end every third row until 2 stitches remain, BO. 10/30 All done! Loving it! :-)
