It’s a super easy to make classic that you can make from things you might already have on hand and the addition of the fresh seasonal strawberries just really sends this cocktail over the edge.
This would be the ideal cocktail to be sipping on when you’re sitting at home watching the Kentucky Derby. You could easily modify this further by changing the fresh fruit that you use and keep it in season and the herbal flavor of the simply syrup just adds another level to this drink that it wouldn’t have without it. Needless to say I got about one sip of this beverage before Alex stole it from me and claimed it for himself, so I can say pretty objectively that it’s quite good.

Step 1Muddle the strawberry with the lemon, strain out the juice, add all other ingredients except ginger beer, shake, pour over ice and top with ginger beer.
