Because I love Pusheen and I love Hunger Games, I decided to try and make a Pusheen / Hunger Games project, and this is what came out! Hope you like it :) I'm really sorry I don't have photos for every detail, I just made things up as I went, so sometimes I forgot :/

Start by choosing the image. I found this one (you can just Google it) and drew the outline on a white paper, to use as pattern.
Next step is to cut 2 pieces of fabric in the desired shape, like shown. Don't forget to leave a margin, so you can sew it easily.
Pin the 2 pieces together and sew all around, leaving only an opening between the paws, as shown.
Turn the whole thing inside out, stuff it, and close the opening, preferably with hidden stitch. If you are having trouble with this type of stitch, try this link: http://quilttaffy.blogspot.pt/2008/07/invisible-closing-seam-tutorial.html It really helped me out when I needed ;)
Now for the hair: I improvised a lot here, so I will try to explain it as best as I can. First I cut a piece of black felt in the shape shown in the picture, and sew it to the front of the head, for the bangs.
For the braid, I cut a rectangular piece of black felt, made a sort of cylinder out of it (sewing the larger sides together, not all the way to the top, to be able to sew it to the head!). Then I closed the bottom of the thing and stuffed it. Next, I sew around it (more like wrapped thread around it) at more or less regular intervals, to give the idea of a braid. I hope the picture gives you a better idea of what is going on here :)
Now put the main thing aside and cut 2 pieces of brown fabric like shown (always leaving some margin), for the bow. Sew all around it, leaving an opening. I recommend a bigger one than shown in the picture, as I had a really hard time turning the whole thing inside out!
After turning it inside out, just stuff it and close it, again with and invisible seam. People have told me that my bow ended up being too bulky, but I think that just adds to the fluffiness :)
Now for the jacket: cut a more or less rectangular (it doesn't matter much, you can always adjust it later) piece of gray fabric for the jacket, then a red one for the jacket's collar. (ignore the bow in this picture, I just pinned it there at that time to see how it looked)
Fold the red piece, so that half of it is on the inside of the gray fabric and the other half on the outside, pin it, and then sew it, so it ends up as shown. Don't sew all of the gray felt of the jacket to the body, only the top, where the red joins the gray! After that, you can cut little pieces for the face and pin them in place. I'm sorry I don't have patterns for that, it was improvised :/
Here for a closer look at the collar and the face, already sewn. At this point you can sew the braid to the body (more exactly, to the jacket), so that it stays put. You can sew it a little sideways, like Katniss wears her braid :) My suggestion is that you sew it around the places where the thread used to make the braid is, so that you don't "crush" the fluffy parts.
Here I hadn't yet sewn the face, but the order in which these little things are done is not relevant. Just sew together 2 little pieces of light-gray fabric to make the little hand that will be pulling the string with the arrow. Sew it to the main body and cut a little hole in the jacket to put the hand through it.
Here are a lot of things at the same time. Pin the bow to the body like shown in the picture and sew only the corners! (the red thread it only to help, it doesn't stay there). Then with a thicker thread (I used a white one because I had nothing more suitable), make the bowstring. Just put a pin next to the little hand so that the thread stays in place, and sew it to the body. Try to sew the ends of the white thread to the back of the bow, in a way that they are not seen (using a thread the same color as the bow, or something. I don't even know how I did it xD)
Using a toothpick (cut to the size needed), sew it to body in the same spot where you sew the white thread, then sew the little hand to the body on top if it all, to cover the "mess", and to make it seem as though she is actually pulling the string with the arrow ;) Sew together 2 little triangular pieces for the tip of the arrow, and sew it to the bow, so that it stays in place. And voilà! :)
