Great for going away with!

I used the pattern for the jewellery bag when I downloaded the free Wild Things pattern creator from http://www.wildginger.com/products/wildthings.htm I used pieces of fabric I had left over from making curtains and other things, but I just liked the way the three colours went well together. Took a bit of figuring out, mainly because I read the instructions but ignored them and made up my own lol This made it tricky for me to work out, but I got there in the end. Bodged up a bit with the linings, should have been the darker lilac on the largest pocket, but I stitched the smaller pockets to the wrong piece. I finished it off with an appropriate ribbon which I hand stitched on, and covered the join with a nice lilac ribbon rose. The original instructions said to use zips in between the pockets, but I've done it different anyway, and I think I might just leave it as it is as it rolls up nicely. I know this isn't a tutorial or a how-to, but I'm so proud of it I had to show it off :-D
