The charging hole is barely visible being right at the front of the throne, after it was cut I just made sure that the polyner clay didn't cover it before baking.
And secondly, yes, you'd have to make it depending on the phone you want it for, this was made for a Samsung galaxy and fits snugly, my iphone fits in easier but would slip to a side if it wasn't plugged in to keep it upright. Just remember that the clay will steal some of your space so check your phone fits before baking.
