This recipe has only a few ingredients. It is easy to make. It tastes great toasted with butter.

You will need

500g Flour 1 tsp Bicarbonate Of Soda 400ml Buttermilk 1/2 tsp Salt

This recipe has only a few ingredients. It is easy to make. It tastes great toasted with butter.

Instructions

1. 

   Heat oven 200 degrees Mix all dry ingredients together

2. 

   Add 1/2 the buttermilk to the dry ingredients & stir together. Add the remaining milk to make a sticky dough.

3. 

   Pour dough onto floured surface. Form into a circle

4. 

   Place onto a tray.

5. 

   Cut a cross in the top & bake for 30 mins.

6. 

   Serve
