Description

I love making these, i always make them for cards and sometimes when i just feel like it. I first got shown how to do this by my teacher in year 6, we made Christmas cards! Ever since then i have always been making them!

Instructions

  1. Gather up your materials.

  2. Small p4020058 1271598178

Find a template. Here i am using a pig template i found on the internet. draw round it on the card, then cut it out, like i have done.

  3. Small p4020059 1271598263

Stick the iris folding pattern on the back, line it up with the one you have just cut out. Stick it there so it doesn't move.

  4. Small p4020060 1271599061

Find some pieces of paper that you will use. cut it into strips then fold them in half, length ways. they are what we use for the pattern.

  5. Small p4020061 1271599921

Start with number one, measure how much paper, rip it then stick it down on the line. Keep doing this with 2,3,4 and so on....

  6. Small p4020062 1271600091

    So yes the next one....

  7. Small p4020063 1271600121

    And keep going round...

  8. Small p4020064 1271600154

    and round...

  9. Small p4020065 1271600386

    and round...

  10. Small p4020066 1271600456

Until you are left with the last one, the iris! Don't stick anything on there just yet...

  11. Small p4020067 1271600601

Take the pattern off the back then it should show you pattern to look like this! Don't worry if it doesn't work out first time... Stick another piece of card on the back to cover up the mess and...

  12. Small p4020068 1271600823

There you are finished... and you can make any other different patterns. Here i have made many teddies because i think they are cute, then there it my pig!
