I came across this mask recently and fell in love with it. While I've used all the materials before and know that they're worth raving about, the mixture of turmeric, sandalwood powder and chickpea flour makes a kick ass face mask. Try it and see how lovely your skin feels and looks!

Description

I came across this mask recently and fell in love with it. While I've used all the materials before and know that they're worth raving about, the mixture of turmeric, sandalwood powder and chickpea flour makes a kick ass face mask. Try it and see how lovely your skin feels and looks!

Instructions

  1. Small turmeric1

Take your 1/2tsp of turmeric, 1 tsp of sandalwood powder and 1 1/2 tablespoons of chickpea flour and mix it in a little bowl. Add just enough milk or lemon juice to create a creamy consistency.

  2. Small 111007 clear skin

Give your face a nice wash and feel free to give it a gentle scrub as well (it will help the mask penetrate a little better). Dry your skin gently. Now spread the mixture over your face until all of it is used up. Don't forget your neck and chest if you have enough! You want an even, relatively thick, layer.

  3. Small clearskinrev225

After twenty minutes of wearing the mask, wash it off using warm water. Dry your skin, tone and moisturize (or do whatever the heck you usually do) and enjoy your lovely face!

  4. Small honey

While the traditional mask does not call for honey, I find that adding a teaspoon to my mix makes it a ton easier to wash off. It also gives some extra benefits. A little word about this mask: Indian brides use this mask every night for a month before their wedding to attain gorgeous, clear skin. Chickpea flour is excellent at absorbing oil and toning the skin. Turmeric is an awesome acne fighter and also brightens your skin. Sandalwood powder is an excellent exfoliant among other things. Milk and lemon juice contain gentle acids that exfoliate your skin. Honey is my favourite ingredient for facial products, as it does all of the above *plus* it moisturizes. Enjoy guys and girls!
