My aunt came for a visit recently and she bought an origami book on her trip. Since I love origami so much she let me borrow the book, and I thought I'd post some of my favorites. I have this one done now, and many more I want to make.

Cut your square in half.
Fold the paper in half. It doesn't matter what side is up.
Fold diagonals of the two layers and unfold.
Turn it over and fold the two layers in halves and unfold.
Fold using the existing crease lines.
Fold the edges to the center.
Fold the corner up and push the edges in. Do the same on the other side and be sure to crease sharply.
Now unfold all the way.
Cut along the line to the center. Note where the circled lines are, this will be the joint wing.
Repeat step 5 on one side, and fold along to step 7.
Again fold the other side from step 5 to 7.
It should now look like this.
Fold the edges o the center.
Repeat on the other side as well. Here is a front and side view.
Fold each of the little legs up to go between. Do this for all 4 of them and fold one down on each for the head.
