I took a cheap picture frame - UK-dwellers you can pick these up in 99p shops! - painted it with a gloss black (you can even use up old nail varnish if you don't have paint to hand - if it's really old nail varnish mix a tiny bit of nail varnish remover in the bottle and it gets rid of the clogged up bits). I wanted it to frame an old fashioned postcard of a Bollywood film, so I found some broken anklets I'd kept in a jar (never throw jewellery away!) and used Bostik to glue them across the top and bottom. Easy as pie.
