Description

Keep your Ipod cosy this winter! EDIT: I really need to make another one of these as my knitting & sewing has improved since this!

Instructions

  1. Small 3701

You will need to knit two sections The first section is to be a little bit wider than width of your ipod. Knit 6 rows of the first colour after casting one row on. Knit a 7th row, then knit an 8th row but instead of using the first colour knit with the next colour. Put the needle into the first stich as usual but use the second colour of wool to make the stich with. Once you have added the next colour make sure to cut off the previous colour and take the beginning of the new colour and tie them into a knot. You will have 8 rows of the first colour once you have knitted 1 row on the next colour. Knit 7 rows and then an 8th row with another colour like the above. The back of the knitting will have a line of the 2nd colour where you added it, a line of the 3rd and so on. The first section should be long enough to fold over to fit the ipod inside. Once you've knitting this section sew it together inside out, this makes it easier to hide all the knots. I think now that I should have just knitted two seperate sections the same size and knitted them together that way but o well!

  2. Small 3702

The second section should be as wide as the first section, check against the now pouch like, 1st section. I knitted 4 different colours of 8 rows for the second section the same as the 1st section. Add a button to the front of the iCosy, I used a big purple button! Sew on the second section and add a ribbon to tie around the button. I added a small rectangle of knitting to the back of the iCosy so i can wrap my headphones around it. I knitted 3 rows, then added the next colour on the 4th.
