Those are awesome! I am going to have to do that this summer. I always have bought my fireplace candles before. I love how you used old candles to make your new ones. Great idea!

I totally love this!! Am gonna try it as soon as I have sorted out the basement and found my old pan. (btw is there anyting else to do it in? I'm not so into cleaning out that basement... lol)

This is so cool. I did a project like this in fourth grade (teacher supervision of course) We also took some white melted paraffin and whipped it then added it to the base of the candle (which was placed on a square of cardboard covered with tin foil) and sprinkled it with glitter. It was a traditional Christmas candle in my family for a while. Happy But then again, parents have to display their children's efforts. Tongue hehe Thanx for posting.
