A delicate stamped butterfly is the focal piece of this elegant card design. Note the two colors on the butterfly? It's made with a simple two-step stamping process. You'll stamp the pink silhouette of the butterfly, then stamp an outline of the image in brown right on top. The technique is easy! Best of all, the outline doesn't have to fit perfectly on top of the silhouette...in fact, it often looks better when the two are slightly offset.

You'll stamp the pink silhouette of the butterfly, then stamp an outline of the image in brown right on top. The technique is easy! Use Cotton Candy ink to stamp the butterfly silhouette on white cardstock.
Use Dark Chocolate ink to stamp the outline image on top of the silhouette. The clear stamp and block make it easy to position the image where you want. Try tilting the stamp or placing it to one side for an offset look.
Stamp the "I miss you" sentiment (also on the Painted Butterflies stamp set) with Dark Chocolate on a narrow strip of white cardstock.
Mat the stamped butterfly on brown cardstock, then on white cardstock. Mat the top and bottom of the "I miss you" strip on brown, then glue across the butterfly piece, wrapping the ends to the back of the larger piece. Add rhinestones in each corner.
Form a white card blank (or purchase pre-scored white cards). Cut a piece of brown cardstock slightly smaller than the front of the card and glue it in the center. Glue the matted butterfly to the card front. Tie a bow in the brown ribbon and use craft glue to adhere it underneath the butterfly.
