So to begin with you are going to need a few tools! You will need: A mixing palette, or small dish Lip Brush/Paint Brush Vaseline Lip Gloss Spatula Pigments

The pigments I am using are by Rockeresque, Ursula and Beating Heart. I’ve chosen to use these because as you know I am a lip product addict and Rockeresque currently do not do lip products, boo. Hopefully that will change soon! Make sure that the powders you use are LIP SAFE. Most products that are not lip safe will state so on the packaging. The Lip Gloss I am using is by H and M from the Hello Kitty range. It is just normal gloss, nothing fancy, smells like strawberry. I also find it is best to use original formula Vaseline. This will become clear shortly. First let us go through the Lip Gloss method. So easy, here we go! Blob a little lip gloss and mix in some powder! VOILA! You have your favourite eye shade in lip gloss form. The more powder you add, the thicker and more pigmented the gloss. If you only want a hint of colour then only add a little. The gloss does make it hard to photograph but hopefully you can see that it is a reddish purple and it is very glossy.

The Vaseline method is exactly the same but it gives a more matte effect. The benefit of using the Vaseline is that you can also use it as an eye shadow! Beating heart is a much redder colour, bordering on burgundy with just the right amount of metallic goodness. Use the same method as before. Take a little Vaseline (use a spatula to avoid contaminating your Vaseline!) and mix in the powder. The more powder, the more solid the colour.

Now you might remember I mentioned you can the Vaseline method as an eyeshadow. Be aware, this only works if you are prepared to keep touching up as it will crease after about 5 mins. If you want a really bad ass look for a photoshoot, then glossy lids are the way forward!
