Description

ever wanted to get a great shot of your pet, but its too expensive to go to a pet photographer here are some tips to DIY at home

Instructions

  1. first get a blanket, sheet or curtain and pin to a wall, let a bit drag on the floor(sort of like a L) to create a seamless backdrop >try simple colours or a funky pattern >I use a steamer to get rid of wrinkles >or if you want to make it look draped, just pin the ends and let it sag a bit in the middle.

  2. make your pet look and feel the best brush fur, get fur out of eyes give a treat after each shot(as a reward)

  3. use natural lighting( a room with lots of light-windows) or shut off the over heads and use lamps on each side. Use daylight bulbs.

  4. have everything prepared beforehand. To make it go as quickly as possible so that your pet doesn't get bored. just get your pet to sit in the middle of the backdrop and shoot away. Use the multishot tool on your camera-its a great way to capture candid moments
