The first thing I do before leaving my house is throw my hair into two french braids. Not only do I love the look of it- this hairstyle is also super comfortable! I can easily lay my head back and not worry about my hair getting messed up. When I get to my destination airport, I go to the bathroom and take my hair out of the braids for some loose waves. It's like preserving a hairstyle!

On my second trip to Taiwan, I noticed a lot of young women would use fabric masks around the middle of the flight. They do this to keep skin moisturized and glowing; as everyone knows, the air can get really dry in a plane. So, on my third trip, I was right there with them putting my mask on mid-flight.

When I go to Taiwan, I am on the plane for about 14 hours straight. That's a long time for makeup to be on and for me to expect it to look good when I come off. Therefore, I don't put any on until after I take off my face mask. I choose easy makeup to apply, like the ones pictured. It gives a really natural, minimal look. Just enough to make me look awake!
