Using a few ingredients make your very own lip balm out home! Great as holiday gifts , too! I have included a free printable lip balm holder. Happy holidays!
Gather together all your ingredients. Once your start, you will want to have everything set up, as the process goes really fast once you get started.
Melt the jojoba, beeswax pearls, and cocoa butter over a double boiler. Once melted, remove from the heat. Add the vitamin E oil, and the essential oils and stir to combine. Then pour into your lip balm containers.
It hardens quite quickly. You can re-heat to melt the remainder. I sometimes use the microwave for this part.
The lip balm tends to settle into the tube as it hardens. To get a nice rounded top, you can use a plastic pipette to top them off. If you have dripped onto the edge of the tube just use a paper towel to wipe off the excess. These are long lasting, all natural and taste great to put on. They make fantastic and economical holiday gifts!
My gift to you. Free Printable lip balm holders. These look fantastic printed on brown craft paper cardstock. Just print, use an xacto to cut on the dotted line and insert your tube in there. Punch a hole at the top, add ribbon and Viola!
