How To Make Drizzled Pumpkin Spice Popcorn

Sweet + salty perfection

I guarantee your first batch will be gone before you can even say “Drizzled Pumpkin Spice Popcorn.”

Pumpkin spice, which I treat as a year-round flavor, is such a perfect pairing with popcorn.

Unlike most of the recipes I find using Pinterest, this one came straight out of my noggin. It was inspired by an insanely expensive bag of Angie’s Holidrizzle Pumpkin Spice Flavored Popcorn. Delicious? Of course. But worth the $4 price? Not for this bargain-hunting gal!

So I used my old standby recipe for kettle corn and transformed it into the perfect sweet and salty snack.

You Will Need (8 things)

  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Vegetable Oil
  • Popcorn (enough to cover the bottom of your pan)
  • Sea Salt
  • Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • Cinnamon
  • White Chocolate wafers (enough to drizzle over popcorn)
  • 2 Pans (cake or sheet pans with sides)

Steps (5 steps, 30 minutes)

  1. 1

Pour sugar, vegetable oil and popcorn into pan at medium heat. Stir until sugar has dissolved and cover. (It’s ok if there’s lumps)

  2. 2

When popcorn begins to pop, cover and move pan around in a circular motion above burner to maintain even heat. When you hear about 3 seconds in between pops, take the pan off the heat immediately.

  3. 3

Pour the popcorn out onto a large pan (with tall sides, like a cake pan). Sprinkle on your salt and spices. I separated my popcorn onto two pans for even coverage:

  4. 4

Melt your white chocolate + a little vegetable oil in the microwave. Drizzle over popcorn.

  5. 5

    Inhale.

As a comparison, Angie’s is on the left and my version is on the right:
