How to made a plushie
I have several plushies on my profile stand.
So i think make a how to make.
I hope that you come out there with my bad english XD
but I try as much as possible understand to make..
okey here we go !

  • Step 1

    What you'll need:

    For this project i used Felt. but you can also use other cloth.
    some more thing you'll need.
    - needle
    - thread in difrent collors.
    - maybe a knot.
    - fake hair or wool dreath
    - glass eye's
    - Filling materials
    - glue
    - marker

    Firstly, draw the patterns on the felt/cloth,

    but you can also draw them on to paper, if you first draw the patterns on paper then cut them out, place them on the felt and draw a line matching the patterns

    you can determen the size of the patterns yourself.

    Cut everything out, but make sure you stay about 1 CM from the drawn line.

    Sew the pattern of the head together
    but leave an opening for the filling

    Cut 2 holes in one side of the head. this is for the eyes.

    Turn it over and fill it

    Then you can glue the eyes where you want them.

    Sew the tiny body together.
    Leave the section where the head is coming open.
    Sew the arms and legs together, but also leave an opening(for filling)where they wil later be attached to the body.

    turn everything over and fil it.

    (Body..legs..arms)

    sew the head to the body

    Do the same with the arms and legs.

    Then the hair..
    Here i've worked here with woolen thread
    sew the hair onto the head.
    start from bottem to top because thats the easyest.
    to make sure the hair is firmly attached to the head, with the thread tie a few knots around the base of the hair.
    if many hairs are attached to the head you may re-do the hairs with a few more knots.

    if you use fake hair.
    take a small cluster of the fake hair and place it on the head.
    sew the thread around the hair and make a knot.
    then take the fake hair and tie it into a knot.
    then sew the thread around the hair ones again and make another knot.

    okey the body is done, now for the clothes.

    first you measure how long everything should be. this can be done by placing the plushie on the cloth and then mark how big everything should be.

    i made him a long coat.

    Wrap the cloth around the side of the body to feel how much you'll need.
    mark it by making a little cut.

    then you can cut out everything on the length

    Look where the arms are going to be and cut a hole

    for the sleeves wrap the cloth around the arm to measure mowmuch cloth is needed.
    then cut out what you need, then sew it together, turn it inside out so the stitches wont be visible.
    then sew it onto the coat.

    Cut the holes for the buttons and sew the buttons where you want them

    for the pants place the cloth onto the lower part of the body, make sure you also cover a part of the waste or else you'll have a pants with only the leg part.
    wrap the cloth around one legg of the plushie to measure howmuch is needed.
    when measure...cut it out.
    do this twice.
    sew the pants together up until the waiste.
    turn pants inside out (to hide stitches)

    Okey now the last step. you can choose for yourself if you do this or not. you can add to your Plushie what you want. I've made something on the back of the jacket.

    And then your plushie is done .. I hope that my english is not thatmuch of a major disaster XD

    my boyfriend helped with the english ^^ so hopefully it'll be a bit better
