Instructions

  1. Small 1 1298609427

Roll out fondant in any color you want. I chose to make my roses in pink.

  2. Small 2 1298609440

Using a pizza cutter or a fondant cutter, cut ribbons which are 1 inches wide and 8 inches long. If you want to make smaller roses, cut strips which are thinner and shorter.

  3. Small 3 1298609452

Fold over one corner of the strip.

  4. Small 4 1298609571

Start rolling and continue all the way to the end…

  5. Small 5 1298609479

    …until it looks like this.

  6. Small 6 1298609490

Cut the end of your rose with scissors.

  7. Small 7 1298609499

    Discard the end.

  8. Small 8 1298609510

Smooth out the bottom of your rose using your fingers.

  9. Small 9 1298609522

All done! Let these dry overnight. They will become hard or semi-hard and then place them on your cakes/cupcakes! Pretty easy... right? :P
