You Will Need (2 things)

  • Rubber Bands
  • Comb or Brush

Steps (8 steps, 15 minutes)

  1. 1

Start with a small section at the front, center of the head. Secure it with an elastic close to the scalp. Tip: You don't want it too loose or it will lift in the next step.

  2. 2

Put another elastic in this section of hair, about an inch to an inch and a half away from the last one.

  3. 3

Tug on the outsides of this section to puff it out and create a bubble effect. Tip: Use both hands and pull outward in both directions at the same time. Try not to pull the inside hair, just the outside hair. You want the middle to remain solid, but the outsides to create the bubble look.

  4. 4

Clip the last section up out of the way with a bobby pin or alligator clip. Take a new section of hair underneath the first and put in another elastic.

  5. 5

Bring down the first section of hair and line up the two elastics, the first section on top of the second.

  6. 6

    Secure with another elastic.

  7. 7

Continue doing steps 2-6 until you run out of hair. When you finish, go back through and tug on the outsides of each section to perfect the "bubbles"

  8. 8

You can finish off with a ponytail or continue the "bubbles" all the way down the ponytail.
