Description

An easy, fun way to create your own hot chocolate spoons at home. A fun cooking project to do with kids!

Instructions

  1. To make the hot chocolate spoons Line a muffin/cupcake tray with 9 cupcake liners. Melt the chocolate in a small saucepan over the lowest heat possible on the stove. Remove from the heat and stir through the cocoa powder until smooth. Divide the mixture between the 9 cases. Refrigerate for 10 minutes. They should be just firm enough to now poke a wooden spoon through without it falling over! Refrigerate until chilled and hardened, around one hour. Remove from the cases and store in an airtight container in the pantry.

  2. To prepare the hot chocolates You will need around ⅓ cup of liquid per hot chocolate. You can use either hot water or brewed milk. I prefer them with hot water and a dash of milk, since I find them already so creamy and rich! Pour the liquid into a mug and stir the chocolate spoon in the liquid until completely melted.
