I figured out how to make taco seasoning not too long ago, by using spices that I already had in my pantry. Now, I will forever have it in my pantry. No msg and lower sodium. Ridiculously easy.

I figured out how to make taco seasoning not too long ago, by using spices that I already had in my pantry. Now, I will forever have it in my pantry. No msg and lower sodium. Ridiculously easy.

Instructions

  1. I saved a shaker after one of my spices ran out. You can do the same or buy a sugar/salt shaker from the dollar store. I also used adobo (I'm Puerto Rican, what do you expect? LOL), if you cannot find the adobo wherever you may live, use garlic and onion powder instead. If you think it needs salt, taste it first before adding salt.

Gather all the spices and your shaker to your work space. This recipe is for the size shaker that I used, feel free to add a FEW more teaspoons to the container you have.

Super easy recipe: -5 tsps adobo seasoning (or garlic & onion powder) -4 tsps chili powder -4 tsps ground cumin -4 tsps ground coriander

Put the cap on (if the shaker has one) and shake it up! You're done! You will now have taco seasoning forever in your pantry too. :) *If your shaker does not have a cap, place a small piece of foil or plastic wrap on the opening, THEN put the shaker's top on and then shake it altogether.*
