This bread is really amazing, I love it! It can be sliced and put in the freezer, so it will always be there ready to be eaten <3 You have to use brewer's yeast to make it :) You will also need a plumcake mould! Sorry, I haven't pictures for the steps, but as soon as I make it again I will take them!

This bread is really amazing, I love it! Instructions

  1. First of all, measure your flour with the cup of your choice and put it in a bowl. (2 cups and 1/2)

  2. Now wash the cup you used, and put in it the yeast, the warm water and the sugar. Stir everything and leave it for about 10 minutes, it has to become a sort of foam.

  3. While yeast, water and sugar are combining, melt the butter and heat the milk. Put the salt in the flour.

  4. Now put milk, butter and yeast mix in the flour, and knead the dough for about ten minutes. Add a little bit of flour if it's needed.

  5. Now, preheat your oven to 50°C, and while the oven is heating, put the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, and cover it with a towel. When the oven is heated, turn it off and put the covered bowl inside it. Leave it there until the dough doubles its dimensions. It will take about an hour. (it's not necessary to heat the oven and put the dough in it, but it's better to do that!)

  6. When the dough is ready, put a little bit of flour on a pastry board, take the dough and put it on the board. Using a rolling pin, and always helping you with flour, form a big rectangle.

  7. Start folding the rectangle on itself, forming a sort of roll (I hope that you understand what I mean). Preheat again your oven at 50°C, oil the plumcake mould and put the dough roll in it. When the oven is ready, turn it off and put the mould in it. Leave it until the dough doubles its dimensions again. (it will take another hour, or less)

  8. When the dough is ready, take it off from the oven, turn it on and preheat it to 170°C. When the oven is heated, put in it the mould and let it cook for 1 hour. (of course this is an indicative time, as it really depends on your oven. . . Maybe you will need a few proof before it will turn out perfect!)

  9. When the time has passed, take the mould from the oven, take your bread from the mould and enjoy it!! ^__^
