Chocolate or vanilla Pudding

This is a good make a head treat. Great for using up extra egg yolks.

You will need

2/3 cup Sugar 1/4 cup Corn Flour 1/4 tsp Salt 1/3 cup Cocoa If making chocolate pudding 2 1/2 cup Milk 4 Egg Yolks 2 tbsp Butter Chopped 1 tsp Vanilla

This is a good make a head treat. Great for using up extra egg yolks.

Instructions

1. 

   Whisk together sugar, corn flour & salt in a pan (off the heat).

2. If making chocolate pudding... Add the cocoa one tbsp at a time. Making sure to incorporate well with no lumps.

3. 

   Mix in the milk a little at a time until all the milk is used.

4. 

   Whisk in the egg yolks.

5. 

   Cook over a medium heat until a large bubble forms. Turn the heat down to low & cook for one minute.

6. 

   Immediately pour through a sieve.

7. 

   Add butter & vanilla & stir until dissolved.

8. 

   Pour into dishes & cover with cling film. Leave to cool then place in the fridge.

9. 

   Serve.
