Thank you so much for this recipe. I have been wanting to make my own for awhile. I just gathered all my ingredients and I'll let you all know how it goes!

I'm going to try my hand at pear I think. Our neighbors gave us a LOT of pears. And peppers, but I don't think those would be tasty! Happy

What is Jiffy powdered mix? Shops in our country don't sell anything like that...
What can I use instead (eggs, flour?)

OMG. I love you. I love poptarts, but haven't had them in a long time because they are so terribly unhealthy. I'm so going to have to make some of these!

Sybaritic, I'm not sure. When I make them, they're gone before I have the chance to freeze them for extended keeping.

I'm pretty sure you'd be able to freeze them unbaked, as pie crust seems to keep well in the freezer. Freezing them after baking may result in some added moisture I would think... so they wouldn't be crumbly and crunchy.

do you know if they freeze and un-freeze well? It seems like project for a mass-weekend baking and then you can just pop one out of the freezer when you're having breakfast.
