Inspired by a very expensive Dior top.
I saw a gorgeous kiddie's Dior top, with Dior written on in black ric rac, so i decided to create my own version.
Thanks to my cousin for helping me out on this one!

  • Step 1

Go on the computer and write your chosen word on your word processor. I wrote Hollypolly in Edwardian Script ITC in size 230 - so the word was split up. Print it out.

  • Step 2

Put the paper inside your top and trace it using a dissappearing ink marker.

  • Step 3

    Next - ric rac!
Follow the line you drew in the ric rac, sewing it on as you go. Cut the ric at the end of your lettering.
This is quite fiddly and slow but be patient and it will be worth the effort!

  • Step 4

Finally, find out some buttons and stitch them onto the ends of your lettering.
