For my textiles exam where my chosen theme was The 1960's and The Beatles.
I made this dress after deciding to look at The Beatles for my textiles coursework. This dress was made in my eight hour exam time and a follow on from another dress I made for the same topic. It was mainly inspired by The Beatles "Hard Days Night" album cover with the silhouettes of each members face. I cut out the face silhouettes in black and used bondawear to iron on the faces onto a psychedelic background colour, matching each members face to their Sgt. Peppers outfit colour (e.g - Paul with blue, Ringo with pink etc) before stitching them all together and stitching together in a 1960's inspired style dress. With some time to spare I sewed bright coloured buttons and and cute hippie flower beads onto the front of the dress :D

***Supposed to be A Hard Days Night not Help inspired dress!

I think you've got the wrong album cover... "Help" is the one when they fave flags.
This looks really nice though! Good job.

I just LOVE that you matched the squares their silhouettes are on, to their Sgt Pepper outfits. Very cool!!
