Crayons take centuries to break down! Because they are petroleum based. So keep your crayons out of landfills & recycle them into cute Hello Kitty & friends crayons!
I used my HK waffle iron as the mold.
Get tons of FREE crayons from grammer schools. Best time~ end of the school year & Christmas break. I printed up some signs for the teachers room & mailboxes asking for their old crayons.
Use the wrappers as FIRE STARTERS -Recycle the wax covered crayon wrappers. Throw a handful on top of the wood in camp fires, fire pits, fire places & wood stoves.
