i love hello kitty, so my sister made this cake for me. i love it!
make cake as directed on back of box. pour half the batter in 1 square pan, and half in another square pan. Bake as directed. leave icing out on the counter to soften.
after the cake is done let cool for about 30 minutes. make sure the icing is soft before using it.
once cake is cooled off, cut one square in half. then round off the edges to make a circular shape. use the corners of the edges as the ears. put the two rounded pieces on either side of the square cake making a big oval, put the ears on the top two corners.
then add the white icing as a base, make a thick layer. then with the chocolate icing make an outline, eyes,and nose.put the small bow at the top right corner of the hello kitty head. and tah-dah! you have a hello kitty cake...enjoy(:
