I made this beautiful Advent Calendar from a Vogue pattern in 1985. It is approximately 65cm X 100cm, made from felt, Velcro, ribbon and gold cord and has a pocket at the bottom containing the 24 felt 'presents'. It wasn't cheap to make but it has been used every year for 30 years, with plenty of life left in it yet.
