You Will Need

Step 1This was the original shirt, made up of a thin jersey knit material.

Step 2I wanted my heart to be about the size of a piece of printer paper.

Step 3Fold in half, draw heart, and cut it out.

Step 4Place heart and outline with washable marker.

Step 5Place cardboard in between the layers of the shirt and paint with fabric paint.

Step 6Wash the shirt after a day of letting it dry.
I used an old makeup brush to paint my heart, and so it has tiny little glints of shimmer in the heart.
