If I might suggest a more savory option which may yeild more desirable results for the non-fired egg lovers amongst us, my mother makes a egg in toast variation of the same. use the cookie cutter to cut an area out of the toast, place the slice in the frying pan with butter, and drop the contents of the egg into the heart shaped void, the egg will cook into that area.
hot oil and i don't have any cookie cutters!
but it is a very good idea!
Expecially for valentines Day.
I think my BF will like these too.
BTW how big is your cookie cutter. 3-4" radius kinda???
