I did mine on an old,ugly,cheap sneakers. I had tons of Archie comics I was about to dump.So glad I could recycle them & make those sneakers wearable again.=)
Now...where can I get transparent straps/shoelaces....

I only have that problem at the tongues of the sneakers.I just smooth it out by making sure the base is flat so that the comic can stick on to it without any air bubbles.

did some of your comic-ness come out warped & cracked ? cause mine is doing that on two of my sides, and i don't know how i should, or if i can, stop it.
