I love using things with an everyday function in my jewelry. I also used round nose pliers and a jump ring closer tool to make these. They can be made by hand without tools though.
I love using things with an everyday function in my jewelry. I also used round nose pliers and a jump ring closer tool to make these. They can be made by hand without tools though.
Here is a picture of startup. You need the supplies listed. Also in picture is the jump ring closing ring and round nose pliers I used on project.
Start by opening a jumpring and closing around a washer.
Follow the same step for all washers.
Open another jumpring and use it to attach the jumprings between two washers from the previous steps.
Add another jumpring to to top of each washer earring and close. Use your last set of jumprings to attach the washer jumprings to your earrings hooks.
Ready to wear! Play around with different size ones or shapes. I've even done this with hardware nuts, switches, etc.
