Salt dough Santa hand prints, perfect Christmas keepsake!
Salt dough handprint ornaments for the Christmas tree.
Make salt dough (1 cup plain flour, 1 cup salt, half cup water) knead and roll flat.
Press hand firmly in to the dough and cut around using a sharp knife.
Poke a hole at the top with a skewer/straw for the ribbon.
Leave on a wire rack for 1/2 days. You can oven dry them in about 4/5 hours at 90 degrees celcius, but I prefer air drying!
Paint as above and leave to dry.
Thread ribbon through then hole, tie and voila!
