Instructions

  1. Small 3. bierloog

    First you make lye by mixing beer and natrium hydroxide (NaOH). It's very important that you mix them in the right proportion. 61.5 grams NaOH 138 ml beer Slowly add the NaOH to the beer while stirring.

    Slowly melt your oils. Once both oils and lye are about 50 degrees CELCIUS, slowly add the lye to the oils. Use a stick blender untill light trace. Add your choice of fragrance and other desired additions. Split mixture in two, add dried sea weed and dead sea mud powder to one part.

  3. Small 3. na gieten

    Pour the soap in molds.

  4. Small 4. 11 uur na gieten

    Remove from mold hafter 24 h.

  5. Small 5. 14 uur na gieten

    The color will look like mustard first but it fades. I stamped my soaps after 48 hours.
