Description

This will make you about 12 x 2" eggs

Instructions

  1. Small 7

I got a little mould from a cheap shop but there are lots and lots of different ones on-line that you can find :) This one is silicon and is nice and bendy

  2. Small 2

Gather some pretty gifts to put inside your egg.....or you can leave them empty if you wish. (You meanie!)

  3. Small 3

Melt all your chocolate. My method is to put them in heat proof containers and whack them in the microwave for 30 second bursts and stir them each time. Usually takes about 1.5 minutes in total, but all depends on how much chocolate you are melting!

  4. Small 1

Now drizzle drizzle drizzle. Make pretty patterns with the different coloured chocolates and layer then up. Once you have done your first layer, whack it in the fridge for 10 minutes....NO MORE THAN 10 MINUTES PLEASE! Or else the chocolate will go cloudy and you want it nice and shiny!

  5. Small 4

After your first layer has chilled. then pour over a layer of milk chocolate, if your eggs still look a bit thin then repeat this process to get 3 layers. then chill for 10 mins and pop those babys out!

  6. Small 5

Now we gotta join those eggs in Holy Matrimony! Well in the egg sense anyway :) Pop in your little gift or candy

  7. Small 9

This is a fun step! Simply heat up an empty saucepan or frying pan (make sure it has a flat bottom) Turn the pan over and rub the flat side of you egg on it so the chocolate melts slightly. Do the same for the other half, quickly pop in your gift (if using) then put the two halves together to make a whole! Then wrap up and garnish with pretty ribbon!
